Donna Ford, Executive Pastry Chef of Sweet Memories Bakery, began designing cakes as a small child when her mother accidentally left cake-decorating supplies from a class on the kitchen table. As she experimented, Donna discovered her passion and unique talent for cake artisty.
Donna has worked with world-class event planners and chefs. She was honored to design events for celebrity entertainers and clientele. Her unique cake designs have been featured in a variety of prominent publications, television shows, films and commercials.
After relocation to the Triangle in 1997, Donna decided to follow her passion designing and creating extraordinary sculptural cake masterpieces. In 1999, Sweet Memories Bakery was created to bring a little bit of magic to North Carolina.
